3. How we store & protect data
Data is stored in AWS (eu-west-1, Ireland). Backup copies are encrypted in transit and at rest. Access is limited to authorised staff under confidentiality.
4. International transfers
Email confirmations are sent via AWS SES, which may process data in the United States. We rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework / Standard Contractual Clauses included in AWS's Data Processing Addendum.

6. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights, email privacy@ratersidekick.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Irish Data Protection Commission (www.dataprotection.ie).
7. How to withdraw & delete
Every email we send contains an unsubscribe link. You may also request deletion by contacting us. We will fulfil the request within 30 days.
8. Changes to this notice
We will post any changes on this page and, for material changes, email you 30 days prior.
9. RaterSidekick Browser Extension
Who we are. RaterSidekick, based in Ireland. Contact: support@ratersidekick.com
What we collect (extension).
- Your email (from Cognito) to sign you in and link your account.
- Task timing data you create on tryrating.com (task ID/type, start/end timestamps, duration, page URL).
- Basic diagnostics (extension version and error logs).
Why we collect it. To show your stats and sync them to your dashboard, fix issues, and keep the service secure.
Legal bases (GDPR). Performance of our service and legitimate interests; consent where required.
Where it goes. We store data with AWS (EU/Ireland; some services may process in the US under SCCs/Data Privacy Framework). We don't sell your data or use it for ads.
How long. Local caches are auto-cleaned; account data is kept until you delete it or close your account.
Your choices. You can sign out to clear local tokens, request a copy or deletion of your data, or object to certain processing. Email support@ratersidekick.com. You can also complain to the Irish Data Protection Commission.
Security & scope. The extension only runs on tryrating.com. It reads the minimal fields needed to time tasks and never reads other sites. Network calls use HTTPS; no remote code.
Changes. We'll update this page and, for material changes, notify you in advance.
